Welcome to Potterings, a self-contained one-bedroom cottage located within the beautiful landscape of The National Trust Stourhead Estate.
Enjoying a wonderful unspoiled position within the village of Kilmington Common, Potterings is situated at the end of a quiet no through lane. Potterings is a mid terrace estate workers cottage built by Henry Hoare II during the early 18th Century. |
The Common was used by sheep drovers who would stay overnight on their market journey to the famous City of Salisbury. With Longleat Safari Park only 8 minutes away, and the famous Georgian City of Bath 40 minutes, you will be well positioned to enjoy these great days out. On our doorstep you will be delighted with the famous National Trust Stourhead House, gardens and lakes giving you a memorable day of exploration throughout the estate.
